Prepare yourself and the space
Wash your hands, straighten the mandir and take a moment to settle your breathing. The aim is to arrive with attention, even when you only have a few minutes.
Light, offer and remember
Light a diya or incense safely. Offer clean water, a flower or a small portion of fruit according to your tradition. These simple acts turn attention toward gratitude.
Keep in mind
- Begin with a short prayer.
- Chant a familiar mantra slowly.
- Sit quietly for one minute before finishing.
Close with gratitude
Conclude the puja with a prayer for clarity and the wellbeing of others. Extinguish any flame safely before leaving the space and share edible prasad respectfully.
